Sometimes things change

And I have to learn to be O.K. with that. Sure, it's difficult, but I guess it's

a life lesson. Yes, I was expecting to have tomorrow off and spend it with my friends,

but now I am working. But on the other hand, I am making more money

towards being able to go on adventures during the summer. I guess it truly

all does work out in the end. Why the drive in sign you ask? Oh, well I'm

seeing a drive in movie tomorrow after work with my friends now! :)

I love the drive in's!

With school dwindling down to the last few months, I am getting more

and more eager to get away. And I promise you, when I do get away, I will

look 100% happier than those girls in this picture.

My view

Therefore, these are things I see everyday.

1. My Prius that I love so much! With the TOMS sticker on the back!

2. Purple flowers growing on the lot nearby.

3. My Cinderella carriage that hangs out on my antenna.

I feel so blessed today. The sun is shining and I honestly have nothing

to complain about. I think of the poor victims of the Japanese earthquake

and I could honestly weep for them. When a natural disaster such as that occurs,

I truly realize how small the world is. I feel for those people whom I have never

met and feel like they are a part of me. Perhaps I feel too much, but at least

that is better than not feeling at all.

Please pray for the people of Japan. My thoughts and prayers will

be continually for them.

Awkward:

1. The people at Starbucks getting your name wrong even though you go there every day. Alex? Really? It's Allie.

2. When someone in class yawns and instead of it being a normal yawn, they sing a note. It was probably the prettiest yawn I've ever heard.

3. When your dad makes ribs for dinner on the first real night of being a vegetarian.

4. Doing pelvic thrusts in your Aerobics class.

Awesome:

1. Random stranger compliments. :)

2. New country music to listen to in the car!

3. Me being a new vegetarian! :D

4. Getting my Charity Water water bottle in the mail today!

5. Tomorrow's Friday!

The best way to feel young

is to go to a Pancakes and PRaise dinner where the average age of an individual

is 70 +. Classic. Katie and I were cracking up over the youthfulness of

the crowd. But hey, at least the pancakes were yummy and the decorations

(see picture) were nice!

Now my mom is trying to fix my computer. Oh, technology.

What I'm Thankful for today

Twinkly lights that still remain around my window.

Instant day brightener.

My TOMS tan that will come with warmer weather like today.

(This tan was from ending of summer/beginning of fall)

New coffee sleeves at Starbucks.

It truly is the little things. Those things that switch up your daily

rituals in a good way. :) I was getting tired of seeing those same sleeves

day in and day out.

Weekend in review

Sunday nights spent with friends.

New cleaning gloves at work!

SO excited about these!

A brownie I made myself at work that I heated up,

put some whip cream on and a cherry and called it a day.

Yesterday was the highlight of my weekend. Work went well and

my friends and I drove around the town stopping off wherever

we felt like stopping. One of those senior nights to remember.

Off to the gym!

And now it begins...

The making of the epic Pro/Con lists.

To emphasize how big a deal these are, I used sparkles.

Because sparkles most definitely don't mean you are 5 years old.

They mean you are 18 and trying to decide where to go to school.

Definitely.

I could probably work on my sparkling a little bit. Tad messy.
